A committee's daily life

What your current tool does not do

Most clubs keep attendance in an app, their players in a spreadsheet, their equipment nowhere, and their ice hours in one person's head. Every piece of information is typed in two or three times, and nobody has the whole picture.

A committee's week, before and after

  • Sharing out the ice

A spreadsheet emailed round, corrected three times, and nobody knows which version counts.

Avec Rinkala : Your slots and who is using them, on one screen. Teams with no ice are flagged.

  • Attendance

A paper sheet in the changing room, typed up again on Sunday evening in the federation's system.

Avec Rinkala : Three taps at the boards. The file to submit is produced afterwards.

  • Equipment on loan

Nobody knows who has what. You buy replacements, and the skates turn up in June.

Avec Rinkala : Every item, who has it, since when. A warning when a player leaves without returning it.

  • Subscriptions

A spreadsheet, reminders sent by hand, and unpaid fees discovered in March.

Avec Rinkala : Automatic invoicing, reminders that go out on their own, unpaid fees visible at all times.
